Origami charity event for Japan pacific disaster appeal 2011  Some Japanese community groups will get together and have a charity event to raise money for Australian Red Cross on Saturday 26th April 12noon-4pm at Manly Corso, Sydney Australia. Dance, music, some Karate and calligraphy demonstration. I will be demonstrating a giant origami paper folding. The origami crane became a symbol of peace. I would like to fold paper to make origami cranes to honor the people who lost their lives, and to think of the people who survived. We also handed out some paper cranes to the people who donated their money on the day. Come and join us!!
