4 June 2013 at the Japanese restaurant, Ocean Room in the Rocks, Sydney.
It was really honored to be invited to paint at the event. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Opera house. That night was even better because Vivid Sydney was on.

According to Japanese legend, there is an invisible red string tied around a person’s little finger. The red string connects two people destined to be lovers, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The invisible red string may stretch, twist or tangle but never break….
Midori is a Japanese-born, Sydney-based contemporary artist. She loves music and her fascination toward people and music gives her endless inspiration.
Her solo exhibition, “Hear the Wind Sing” is a collection of her latest works including “Red String” series.

Northern Expressions @ Lane Cove
The Gallery Lane Cove was a great venue.
20 artists from Northern Expressions artists group exhibited together and looked fantastic!
The exhibition was opened by Sydney artist and Solomon prize 2012 finalist, Kathrin Longhurst. Wish our exhibition was last longer! It was too short.
